As we approach Halloween under the current Tier restrictions, none of us are able hold our annual Halloween events. But that doesn’t mean Halloween fun is cancelled.
This year The City Adventurers are playing escape room games at home with the Halloween – Survival Escape Training from ClueQuest and the Haunting of Harlequin House by Clue Cracker as well as solving a monster murder mystery from Red Herring Games…..
Halloween – Survival Escape Training from ClueQuest
ClueQuest have developed this emergency training course to help you cope with any Halloween horrors that may terrorize your neighborhood. This Print + Cut + Escape game allows you to play a puzzle solving experience in your living room or over zoom. Simply print the file, cut out the puzzles and you are good to go.
We recently played their Print + Cut + Escape Humanity 2.0 and loved it, so are looking forward to their new Halloween – Survival Escape Training game.
The Haunting of Harlequin House by Clue Cracker
The Haunting at Harlequin House is a digitally produced game by the Clue Cracker team.
We have really enjoyed Clue Cracker’s other online games Escape from Extinction Island Fairground Felony and The Disappearance of DJ McDee. We have been saving The Haunting at Harlequin House for Halloween.
The story goes that you are the proud new owner of Harlequin House. What you don’t know, is that many years ago, a girl went missing from Harlequin House and was never seen again. Her story is untold but her spirit lives on…
A Monster Smash
In a suburban district of Westfield New Jersey, stands the imposing but somewhat derelict Victorian mansion and funeral home belonging to the De’Bodies family. No longer running a funeral service, the family have resorted to other means to maintain an income, selling various homeopathic remedies as well as taking in lodgers on a regular basis. Many of whom are never seen again! This Halloween the family are busy preparing the mansion for visitors as usual, however just as the decorations are complete a sinister discovery is made near the woodchipper outside…
Written and performed by Red Herring Games, this will be performed via zoom from 7.30-9.30pm on 31st October 2020. Tickets, excluding booking fee, are £6.00 per household. This event will be raising money for Life After Cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Book your place via Eventbrite.
